Bumblebee Farm: Meet Owner & Farmer, Amy White
Meet Amy White, co-owner and farmer @bumblebeefarmwa in Fall City, WA.
Amy has been a gardener, a food writer, a science educator, and small business owner for many years in New Mexico. After
returning to Seattle, she worked part time at Local Roots Farm for a couple of years, before finally taking the plunge into the Viva Farms incubator program.
“As a child, I loved exploring my grandmother’s huge vegetable garden on her farm in Illinois. “Farmer” has been on every list I’ve ever made of what to be when I grow up.”
Bumblebee Farm offers CSA subscriptions that span the entire Washington growing season. Their Spring CSA is about to launch, which means early veggies like, fresh lettuce, radishes, onions, chives, and cilantro (if you like that kind of herb).
If you live in the greater Seattle area and are interested in Bumblebee’s Spring or Main Season CSA subscriptions (now offering a mushroom share!), check out their site and sign up (link in bio)! My husband and I have been receiving loads of produce from Bumblebee for a few seasons now and produce box delivery day is always exciting and delicious.
